About

Ann Forbush is an artist and educator based in New Hampshire and Florida. She holds a BFA in photography from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and an MFA from MassART in Boston.

Her professional career includes designing textiles for the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, teaching printmaking at the deCordova Museum in Lincoln, MA and Maud Morgan Arts in Cambridge, MA. Ann is the author and facilitator of three international art collaborations between Boston and our Sister City, Strasbourg, France. The Par Avion Project (2011-2012), the Ex Libris Exchange (2016-2017), and Art on Science: 26 Études (2018-2020), all sponsored by the Boston/Strasbourg Sister City Association. Ann developed and launched the Eye2i Game®, a board game in which players advance by matching phrase cards with photos from their cell phone library.

Her work is in the collections of The Boston Athenaeum, Boston Children's Hospital, the Rochester Library, the Library of Congress and the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington D.C., and numerous private collections. She has exhibited in the U.S., the UK, France and Australia, and received two grants from the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
