Monoprints
Ann has worked as a printmaker and printmaking instructor since the 1990s. Her monoprints utilize paper stencils, collage, photo transfer, and tromp l’oeil techniques. They speak to the intersection of the natural and man-made world. Often fragments represent the whole and small icons refer to larger narratives in Ann’s highly tactile artwork.
